2025 defensive ends Mandrell and Darryll Desir commit to FSU
Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles have landed two more verbal commitments for #Tribe25. Twin defensive ends Darryll and Mandrell Desir from Miami Norland High School have joined the class.
Darryll Desir, at 6’5” and 240 pounds, is ranked as the 578th best player in the nation by 247Sports composite (44th best DE, 72nd best player in FL). Mandrell Desir, at 6’4” and 240 pounds, is considered the 738ty best player in the country (56th best DE, 95th best player in FL).
Last season, the twins helped lead Norland to the state championship game. Darryll finished his junior campaign with 48 tackles (16 for loss), seven sacks, and a forced fumble. He’s seen time all along the defensive line. Mandrell also played multiple positions along the DL and finished with 29 tackles (five for loss), three sacks, and two fumble recoveries.
The Desir twins, formerly committed to the UCF Knights, chose the Seminoles over other offers from the likes of the Cincinnati Bearcats, Colorado Buffaloes, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, Maryland Terrapins, Pitt Panthers, Stanford Cardinal, Syracuse Orangemen, and Texas A&M Aggies.
