Miami received its first 2027 Miami commitment on Monday night from wide receiver Ah’Mari Stevens.

Another day, another piece of great news for Mario Cristobal. On Monday, the Miami Hurricanes received their first 2027 commitment from wide receiver Ah’Mari Stevens, per multiple sources. None of the top four major recruiting sites, 247Sports, ESPN, On3, or Rivals rank Stevens yet in the 2027 class. At 6-0 and 165 pounds, Stevens has good height for a sophomore.

Playing for legendary St. Thomas Aquinas, Stevens has 67 receptions for 817 yards and nine touchdowns in two high school seasons. After recording 23 receptions for 267 yards and one TD as a freshman in 2023, Stevens improved to 44 catches for 550 yards and eight scores as a sophomore in 2024.

2027 WR Ah’Mari Stevens has committed to Mario Cristobal and Miami

Younger WRs will have a chance to make significant contributions for Miami in 2025. Ny Carr, Chance Robinson and JoJo Trader will have the opportunity to compete to be starters for Miami next campaign. Trader had three receptions for 40 yards and a TD in the Pop-Tarts Bowl loss to Iowa State in December.

Miami signed Joshua Moore, Malachi Toney and Daylyn Upshaw in the 2025 class at WR. Keeping the most talented WRs in South Florida is critical for Miami rising to become among the top programs nationally. Stevens has a lot of upside and has immediately made an impact at one of the best high school programs in the country.
