The Hoops have already drawn up a list of replacements for the Aussie

Celtic are reportedly ‘resigned’ to losing Ange Postecoglou as Tottenham Hotspur prepare to accelerate their interest next week.

The Hoops boss has emerged as Spurs’ No1 managerial target to replace Antonio Conte and it’s said chairman Daniel Levy will make an official approach once Saturday’s Scottish Cup Final against Inverness Caley Thistle is out of the way.

A Hampden win could see Postecoglou become only the fifth Parkhead manager to win a Treble, but it’s becoming increasingly likely the showpiece will be the Aussie’s final game in charge. The Sun reports that Postecoglou could be paraded as Tottenham’s new manager as early as NEXT WEEK as they hope to quickly trash out terms with the Aussie.

Postecoglou is on a one-year rolling contract at Celtic Park, which means Spurs won’t have to shell out a significant compensation package to land the 57-year-old. It’s reported by the same outlet that Celts chiefs have already started drawing up a list of potential replacements, with West Ham boss David Moyes listed as one of the early contenders.

Moyes – who started his playing days at Celtic – has been consistently linked with a return to Glasgow’s east end throughout his managerial career. The 60-year-old has guided the Hammers to the Europa Conference League Final against Fiorentina but the London club have yet to make a decision on whether the Scot will remain in the hotseat next season.

Postecoglou will once again be asked to address his future when he meets the press ahead of Saturday’s Scottish Cup Final.
