Sky Sports’ Dave Jones predicts the Everton vs. Brentford outcome.

According to Dave Jones, Everton will suffer yet another defeat when they go to Brentford in the evening kickoff on Saturday (23 September).

In his Sky Sports predictions for this week (21 September), the Sky Sports host predicts the Toffees will fail to score in their fifth match out of six, losing 3-0.

The Bees are already in their usual mid-table position, but lost their first game of the season 1-0 to Newcastle last weekend, while Everton is also in their all-too-familiar bottom three after being defeated by Arsenal by the same scoreline.

He must capitalize on that security, not least in terms of attacking, as forward-thinking acquisitions in the transfer window have resulted in little difference thus far.

After losing Alex Iwobi and Demarai Gray on loan, the team has arguably returned to square one out wide, with the latter having waiting to make his debut after coming with a hip injury.

Beto’s arrival has offered a much-needed replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but he can’t do much without service.

The midfield is increasingly being criticized for a lack of inventiveness, with Abdoulaye Doucouré’s industry and forward surge being backed up by nothing else on a consistent basis.

So a game strategy that focuses on getting the ball into the box will be required, as merely trying to keep things tight has been ineffective this season.

In other Everton news, Dyche reacted to a query about his job security following discussions with 777 Partners.
