I just feel blessed' - Wolves striker on his new lease of life at Molineux - Birmingham Live

Here’s how we predict Wolverhampton Wanderers to line up against Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Wolverhampton Wanderers travel to face EFL Championship surprise package Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup Third Round on Tuesday evening.Ipswich, one of the most in-form clubs in the country, having won seven of their first eight games since returning to the English second division and are presently second in the table.

The Old Gold, on the other hand, have not won since a 5-0 hammering of Blackpool in the previous round of the Carabao Cup, and confidence is at an all-time low.

Wolves will most certainly rotate heavily because the Premier League is their priority, although Gary O’Neil will most likely not start too many teenagers to show respect to the Tractor Boys.

With that in mind, here are the 11 players we believe will do well.

1. GK – Daniel Bentley

Good opportunity for the backup goalkeeper to get some game time.

2. RB – Matt Doherty

Scored twice in Wolves’ last cup outing and should start this one.

3. CB – Toti Gomes

Comes in as a more than capable option and gives a needed rest to Craig Dawson.
