Injury update: Boag, Teakle progressing toward return

ELLA Boag and Julia Teakle are making positive strides in their recovery, with both players expected to be eligible for selection within the next three weeks.
Boag sustained a lateral ankle sprain at training before the Round 4 Geelong clash, with the 19-year-old recovering well and expected to begin running on Tuesday.
Teakle has already resumed running over the past week, with the tall forward making good progress after signs of stress were detected in her foot following Round 2.
After ending her season early by rupturing her ACL in Round 4, Indy Tahau underwent a successful surgery on Thursday to reconstruct the ligament.
The 20-year-old is travelling well and remains in good spirits, despite the circumstances.
Port Adelaide will name its side for this Saturday’s game against Sydney at 5:50pm ACST on Thursday.

Geof Motley to be farewelled at Alberton
Club great Geof Motley will be farewelled at a funeral at Alberton Oval on Monday 9 October.
The Port Adelaide Football Club, on behalf of the Motley family, advises that a funeral to honour and farewell the late Geof Motley will be held at Alberton Oval at 11:30am on Monday 9 October.
Members of the public are welcome to attend and pay tribute to the nine-time premiership player who passed away last week after a short illness at the age of 88.
A number of past club greats will be on hand to celebrate the life of the Australian Football Hall of Famer and 1964 Magarey Medallist.
In lieu of floral tributes, the Motley family has requested donations be made to support the work of Legacy.
