“It’s time to go”: St Kilda star to cut locks for a good cause

“We’ve made some great memories, the mullet and I.”

St Kilda star Jack Sinclair is set to cut his distinguished mullet next week, with the Saints defender looking to raise money for the Danny Frawley Centre and Mental Health Month.

Sinclair, who has blossomed into one of the premier half-backs of the competition over recent years, has had his flowing locks on full display across the past three seasons.

The dual All-Australian is now ready to cut his mullet for a good cause, with one fan to be given the opportunity of doing the first cut as Sinclair and the Saints look to raise funds and awareness for mental health.

Sinclair confirmed this week that the haircut will take place on Thursday, October 5, with a goal of $15,000 in donations listed. You can donate HERE.

“I’m gonna be cutting [the mullet] off next week,” Sinclair said in a video posted to the club’s socials.

“I’m really excited to be able to raise some money for the DFC for Mental Health Month in October.

“We’re gonna choose one lucky person to do the first cut, so please donate generously and we’ll raise some well-needed funds for mental health and the DFC.”

The Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing, located at RSEA Park, has been a place of belonging for anyone who steps foot through the doors since its opening in March last year.
