Blackhawks News: This injury update is absolutely incredible

The Chicago Blackhawks are getting ready for a big tilt with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Of course, Toronto is an elite team looking to take yet another big step here in 2023-24. Auston Matthews has a hat trick in each of the first two games so this is not going to be an easy task for Chicago.

Thankfully, it sounds like there is a bit of good news to report. After missing Saturday night’s game against the Montreal Canadiens, Taylor Hall is going to be back for the Chicago Blackhawks in this game. He hurt himself in the second game of the year against the Boston Bruins.

The Hawks need Hall. They traded for him so that Connor Bedard could have a very good and highly skilled line-mate to play with. Hall assisted on Bedard’s first career NHL goal which shows that they can make some plays together this year. Getting him back will be big for the entire group.

When Hall was a member of the New Jersey Devils, he won the Hart Trophy as the league’s MVP. That type of experience is going to be a big reason that he sticks with Bedard when healthy this year. The two will make some truly amazing plays.Blackhawks News: This injury update is absolutely incredible

Taylor Hall is going to return to the Chicago Blackhawks lineup on Monday.

Hall’s return is coming just in time. Connor Bedard is going to get a lot of media attention in Toronto and Hall is the perfect person to have there for him. After originally fearing that it was going to be a long-term injury, he is fine and good to go.

The team can return to action as normal with Hall in the mix. All of the other wingers who are healthy and in the lineup are slotted into the right spot for their game when Hall is in the mix. It is really good to have him back right in time to play against this great Leafs team.

Taylor Hall deserves this type of injury break. He has dealt with some nasty ones in his career and it would have been tough to see him miss a significant amount of time. Instead, he gets to return to the lineup after missing just one game.

Hopefully, the Hawks can take care of business against this Maple Leafs team. They aren’t trying to be a winning team but everyone in Chicago would like to see them pull off an upset like this early in the Bedard era. Having Hall back will help.
