Leeds United player set to depart on Bosman move, with current club ready to close deal –

Leeds United defender Robin Koch has had a successful season with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga and will be eligible to consider a permanent move on January 1st, 2024.

The Whites have a number of loan players this season who might wind up enhancing funds for next summer through sales.
Given the way in which these players left on loan after not being good enough in the run-up to relegation, it’s perhaps for the best that they go.

Will Robin Koch ever return?
Robin Koch moved to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer, and he has substantially improved his form, performing extremely well at the center of a back three.

In 12 games in all competitions, he has five victories, five clean sheets, and his first competitive goal since leaving Germany for Elland Road, a header in the Europa Conference League against Aberdeen.

What’s the most recent update on a transfer?
With Koch’s contract expiring in the summer of 2024, he will be ready to discuss a Bosman move from the start of the new year, and Frankfurt is eager to secure a permanent agreement.

Sport1 is now reporting that Koch’s time at the club will not end when his loan expires, with the club hoping to seal a permanent deal as soon as the January transfer market begins.

What is unclear is how Leeds fit into the picture, with Frankfurt allowed to arrange a pre-contract agreement to sign him for free when his contract at Leeds expires in the summer – or they might skip the waiting period entirely by signing him in January.

Frankfurt paid Leeds €500,000 to loan him out in the summer.

Predictions for Norwich City vs. Leeds United

Koch needed to leave Leeds because he wasn’t cutting it in the Premier League, and he’s proving he can play in the top league.

However, we cannot anticipate any form of price here because the door is open for Frankfurt to sign him for free in the summer.

A pre-contract deal seems like the inevitable next step for them, and we’d be surprised if we got any money for him.
