Sheriff: Man facing charges after fight at Bengals game captured in viral video
A man is facing charges stemming from an incident at a Bengals game on Sunday captured in a now-viral video on social media.
According to the sheriff’s office, 25-year-old Andrew Giordano was resisting arrest and “head-butted another citizen while being arrested.”
Video of the incident was posted to social media and has since gone viral.
Videos taken by fans of the incident show a man, identified as Giordano, in the striped overalls being lead out by deputies and security.
Giordano is facing misdemeanor charges, including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault.
He appeared in court on charges Monday. His attorney declined to speak.
According to the Bengals website, The Cincinnati Bengals and the National Football League have established a “Fan Code of Conduct” for all fans.
The code of conduct includes a zero-tolerance policy for things like unruly, disruptive, threatening or illegal behavior. See full code of conduct here.
According to the website, any fan that violates the code of conduct and fails to identify themselves to stadium staff is subject to penalty, including being barred.
