F1 News: Lewis Hamilton reveals sad news about his Mercedes contract ‘It won’t be long’ Lewis Hamilton has spoken out about his Mercedes contract expiring at the end of 2023.
Mercedes team manager Toto Wolff recently explained that reviewing Hamilton’s contract is on his to-do list over the winter break, but there is no deadline at this time.

The seven-time champion explained in an interview with Bild that he has not yet started talking about the contract and revealed the sad truth that “now will not be an important moment”.
He explained: “We haven’t started yet.
Until now, we have not had time for this; we have been on the road.
“Sometimes you wake up and you feel, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore.
‘ “And sometimes you wake up and think, ‘I could do other things all my life; surely there are more things I want to accomplish.
‘ “It won’t be a long time now but I’ll definitely stay

The British rider later explained that he hoped to end his career on a high note by winning his eighth world championship.
He said, “I think stopping being a world champion is a dream that every athlete has, and I do too.
“For me, motorsports are not the most important thing either.
When I was a kid, maybe it was.
Probably also when I got to Formula 1.
“Since I’ve been in my 30s, I’ve realized that it’s all about creating memories.
With friends and family.
“It’s about key memories with the people who mean the most to you

That’s what I focus on and plan to do to create these moments.
Because that’s what you take with you in the long run.
” The Mercedes team had a difficult 2022 but they are looking ahead to the 2023 season with the significant improvements they made towards the end of last year in the hopes of being more competitive against Red Bull and Ferrari.
