Injury update: No fresh injury concerns
Janelle Cuthbertson and Indy Tahau remain the only players on Port Adelaide’s injury list.
Port Adelaide has emerged from Round 8 in reasonable shape, with Janelle Cuthbertson and Indy Tahau the only two players on the club’s injury list.
Cuthbertson underwent a successful surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn flexor tendon in her left middle finger.
The co-vice captain will recover with her hand in a splint but will continue supporting the group during training and game days.
It has been almost a month since Tahau had her ACL reconstructed, with the tall forward keeping her leg in a brace for a few more weeks.
Port Adelaide will name its extended team for Sunday’s game against Hawthorn at 5:50 p.m. ACDT on Thursday, with the final team announced at 4:30 p.m. Friday.
