The Washington Commanders are looking to keep their playoff hopes alive this year.
Currently, they have a 4-6 record and are on the outside looking in.
Yet, playing in a weak NFC, all hope of playing in the postseason is not lost.
But the commanders will need to see more consistency from their entire team.
One week they look competitive and the next they look terrible; we seem to never know what commanders we will be getting.
This week, they have a game they should win against the depleted New York Giants.
But the Commanders will be entering the game shorthanded on offense.
According to Nicki Jhabvala, Ron Rivera said Antonio Gibson and Alex Armah “have progressed well.”
Both will miss this week’s game but hopefully can return for their Thanksgiving matchup with the Dallas Cowboys.
Having back-to-back division games is tough and they are both must-wins for the commanders.
While neither of these players is a focal point of the offense, they play a role.
