The reason behind Dominic Young’s hospitalization has been revealed

Dominic Young, a 2024 Sydney Roosters recruit, experienced a terrifying health scare prior to yesterday’s Lions game against Tonga.

The NRL’s second-highest try scorer was expected to play a key role for England in the three-match Test series against Tonga, but he was hospitalized days before the match due to an injury.

According to Wide World of Sports, he was hospitalized for over a week due to a brain infection following the setback.

Young will not play in the three-Test series against Tonga, as far as is known. But if all goes according to plan with his recuperation, he ought to return for the Sydney Roosters preseason training in November.
