Daicos was at the Botanic Gardens with several Magpies teammates supporting the Vision Australia event.

The star winger was asked about Adams leaving Olympic Park this off-season and said it would be “very disappointing” to see the veteran leave for the Sydney Swans.
However, he insisted that from the Magpie family’s point of view there was no bad blood.
“He (Adams) was a great teammate and we’re very sad to see him go, but we understand that things like this happen in football and we wish him the best,” Daikos said.

During his time abroad, Daicos enjoyed an eye-opening experience with Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur, before returning home ready to defend the Pies’ flag in 2024.
