Express Sport breaks down the prize money for every position in the Premier League.

On the final day of the Premier League season, all eyes will be on the concluding chapter of an extremely tense relegation battle between Leicester City, Leeds United and Everton. While many others will be watching on to see who secures the final European qualification spot out of Aston Villa, Tottenham and Brentford.

But for multiple Premier League sides who are safe from the drop and aren’t challenging for anything in particular, there is still plenty up for grabs. Each position in the top flight table is worth roughly an extra £2.2million – a welcome cash injection ahead of the summer transfer window.

Only five out of 20 sides can’t see any movement in the final-day standings. The top spot, already secured by Manchester City, brings home a staggering £44million while 20th position, held by Southampton, only gets the soon-to-be Championship outfit £2.2million. See the full list below.
