Former West Virginia LB James Heard, from Fran Brown’s hometown, will transfer to Syracuse
Syracuse., N.Y. West Virginia transfer linebacker James Heard Jr. announced on Sunday that he has committed to play for the Syracuse football team.
Heard played in three games as a true freshman with the Mountaineers last year and did not record a statistic. That means he comes to Syracuse with four years of college eligibility remaining.

Former Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones had a decent showing against his previous team in London. Not only did the Jaguars win their second international game this season, but Jones had three catches for 23 yards and one touchdown. His longest reception was at the start of the second quarter. He took the pass to Jacksonville’s 27-yard line for a 10-yard gain.
