With Georgia’s losses to the NCAA transfer portal mounting through the first two weeks of December, Carson Beck’s Dec. 18 announcement that he will return to Georgia in 2024 was a welcomed reprieve from the doom and gloom that had permeated the Georgia fan base in the aftermath of the team’s loss to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. On Thursday, Beck met with the media ahead of Georgia’s matchup with Florida State in the Orange Bowl and discussed his decision to delay his entry into the NFL draft for the first time publicly, as well as the room for improvement he’s seeking in 2024.
