VIDEO: FSU Quarterback Jordan Travis Shares Message to Fans From Hospital Bed

Q&A about the recovery and rehab process for Florida State football players

QB1 sends a message to ‘Nole nation.

Saturday night’s game against

North Alabama was a rollercoaster of emotions. Senior night. Jameis Winston being honored and having his jersey retired. 2013 National Championship team reunion. And most impactful, Jordan Travis’ last game in Doak Campbell Stadium in front of a sold-out crowd.

Sadly, it turned into a night where the Seminoles’ fanbase saw their favorite player and leader of the team go down with an apparent leg injury most likely ending his FSU career. Travis was taken off the field via cart and straight to the ambulance to be further taken care of. A heartbreaking emotional moment for everyone involved.

You could tell how much he meant to his teammates, coaches, administration, and the entire fanbase as he was greeted with love between both teams before being carted off of Bobby Bowden Field.

Travis was transported to a local hospital in Tallahassee where his family would meet him and it so happens to be that QB1 was staying tuned into the game watching Tate Rodemaker lead the offense back from being down to take the lead and later in the game congratulating true freshman quarterback Brock Glenn on his first career touchdown run.

On Sunday morning, Travis sent a message to Florida State’s fanbase giving his thanks for all of the messages, prayers, and thoughts sent his way.

Florida State’s biggest leader is staying as strong as much as he can.

We’ll be hearing from Mike Norvell on Monday morning to hopefully get a better update on Travis as the road to recovery begins for one of the best to ever do it in the Garnet & Gold.
