He was third in terms of carries in the first two games, so he can’t claim he wasn’t given a chance. I guess moving up the chart would be too much work! We wish him well. There are probably three more guys willing to contribute.

What it represents is reality. He is built to run the ball, and I believe he understands that he is far behind what a CU back is expected to do: run, block, and receive the ball. He simply is; he would be unable to overtake the backs ahead of him, and those coming in are already ahead of him due to HS coaching. Wish him luck, but he needs to learn to block and understand that in college, you can’t outrun everyone.JMO.

He has stated that it is due to his grandfather’s death and a desire to be closer to his family.

Bowman has the potential to be a great running back for Clemson. His high school film is incredible.
One can assume he expected more playing time in the first two games. However, any child should understand that they must learn and integrate into the system before becoming the leader
He planned to be an early enrollee in January. However, according to reports, he failed to graduate from Lakeland, FL, High School in December. He was not present for spring and summer workouts, putting him behind our stable of capable backs.
