Purdue’s staff has been hard at work revamping the Boilermakers’ roster in Year 2 of the Ryan Walters era. Almost thirty players accessed the portal, and Purdue added some names with strong credentials who could have a significant impact.

The Boilermakers, who won two of their final three games, finished with a 4–8 record.

WEST LAFAYETTE − Claims that the football team at Michigan stole signals from their opponents were dealt with behind closed doors.

Prior to the Purdue football team’s Saturday night match against Michigan, which is rated second, Ryan Walters, the coach of the Boilermakers, spoke candidly about the subject during his weekly radio interview on Thursday.

“It’s unfortunate,” Walters remarked in response to a question from radio host Tim Newton regarding Michigan preparations in light of the accusations. “The absurd thing is that they aren’t claims. It took place.

“Video proof is available. Sales and ticket purchases have a history that you can follow. We have no doubt that they attended several of our games.”

Connor Stalions, a staff member at Michigan, was recently placed on leave following accusations that he assisted the Wolverines in intercepting signals from possible opponents. Stalions bought tickets to games against prospective postseason opponents as well as opponents from Michigan.

In the first meeting between the two programs since 2017, Purdue was defeated 43–22 by Michigan in the Big Ten Championship game of the previous year.
