Another Blackburn Rovers Player Linked With Luton Town
I’ve only been away for 36 hours, sampling the delights one part of North Yorkshire has to offer, and another piece of transfer tittle-tattle emerges.
According to the Telegraph, the Hatters are showing an interest in supposedly bringing a second Blackburn Rovers player to the club.
Hard on the heels of transfer speculation linking their goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski with a move to Kenilworth Road, our referenced source infers that the Blackburn captain, Lewis Travis, could also be joining Luton Town.
Travis, 25-years-of-age, is a midfielder who was, originally, on the books of Liverpool before moving to Ewood Park.
While at Blackburn, Travis has made over 200 appearances for the club.
Now whether, if the interest is genuine, the Hatters can persuade Travis to move south and also agree a fee with Blackburn Rovers remains to be seen.
But, with a highly competitive season ahead of us, Travis could be a welcome addition to a squad that needs bolstering for the tough campaign ahead.
As is the norm, here at Vital Luton Town, we’ll keep a watchful eye out for any further developments.
