Rutgers football recruiting insider: Raedyn Bruens breaks down Wednesday’s offer
The latest offer to go out from Rutgers football went out to Florida defensive end Raedyn Bruens.
From Mosley High School (Lynn Haven, Florida), Bruens is a class of 2025 recruit. The 6-foot-4, 241-pound edge rusher is a three-star according to 247Sports, where he is the No. 69 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 117 player in Florida in this recruiting cycle.
Last year, Bruens had 48 total tackles including eight tackles for a loss. He had two sacks and five quarterback hurries as well as four passes defended.
Rutgers is the first Power Five program to make an offer. Additionally, Florida A&M, Jacksonville State, FAU, UMass, South Florida, Troy, Tulane, and Western Kentucky have extended offers to him.
Getting that first Power Five offer was big for Bruens. There is a sense of validation for Bruens in getting the offer from Rutgers.
