When to expect Micah Hudson to return to Texas Tech football workouts
Micah Hudson, a highly recruited wide receiver for Texas Tech football, will miss spring practice due to arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, a source informed the Avalanche-Journal.
According to the source, Hudson should be back in shape for summertime exercises like weightlifting, running, and 7-on-7 competitions. The injury he had fixed had its origins in his time at Temple Lake Belton High School.
According to the 247Sports composite index of recruiting-service rankings for the 2024 recruiting class, Hudson, who is listed at 6-foot and 190 pounds, is ranked as the 16th prospect nationwide and the 4th prospect in the state. This places him among the all-time top recruits at Texas Tech.
On signing day, Tech coach Joey McGuire remarked, “He’s one of those guys I’ll be shocked if he’s not an instant contributor.” “He’s anticipated to participate as a freshman. You won’t hear me declare that Micah Hudson will be redshirted, I believe. I believe he will be involved in this football club from the first day of his arrival.”
When Hudson was spotted with a brace on his left leg during the Tech-Texas basketball game on Tuesday night, Red Raiders supporters took notice. He enrolled in Tech in December and began his studies the following January.
