SDSU basketball coach’s big payday
According to the Union-Tribune, head basketball coach Brian Dutcher of San Diego State University will now be paid the highest salary of any employee in the CSU system, taking home $2.3 million this season.

The small print: Dutcher’s pay will increase from $1.4 million as a result of the recently inked contract extension.
According to the newspaper, he will receive yearly raises of $100,000 up to $2.7 million in 2027–2028 when the contract expires.
