Whitecaps FC loan midfielder J.C. Ngando to Las Vegas Lights FC
Vancouver, British Columbia – Midfielder J.C. Ngando of Vancouver Whitecaps FC has been loaned to Las Vegas Lights FC of the USL Championship until the conclusion of the 2024 season, the team announced on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Ngando was originally chosen 13th overall in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft by Whitecaps FC as a Generation Adidas player. He made 14 appearances in all competitions with the first team during his debut season, which included the Canadian Championship, Leagues Cup, MLS regular season, and Concacaf Champions League.
In addition, Ngando recorded one goal and three assists in 13 games with Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) in MLS NEXT Pro, including 10 starts.
