Casey Thompson, previous Texas, Nebraska and FAU QB, says he’ll exchange to Oklahoma


Casey Thompson, who has played quarterback at Texas, Nebraska and Florida Atlantic, has declared he will exchange to Oklahoma for the seventh season of an injury-riddled career.

Thompson, 25, made the declaration on social media on Thursday night.

Thompson’s father is previous Oklahoma wishbone Sooners quarterback Charles Thompson. Oklahoma enrolled Casey, who played tall school football at Southmoore and Newcastle tall schools in Oklahoma, some time recently he chose Texas. And when Casey was within the exchange entry after taking off Texas, Oklahoma coach Brent Venables attempted to bait him some time recently he chose Nebraska.

Thompson had a few victory at Texas. He came off the seat and passed for 170 yards and four touchdowns to assist the Longhorns beat Colorado 55-23 within the 2020 Alamo Bowl. After that, he exchanged to FAU and tossed five landing passes in his make a big appearance, a win over Monmouth. But he tore his ACL within the third diversion of the season against Clemson.
