Nebraska football: Star wide receiver officially ‘in the game’

The release of EA Sports College Football 25 is just around the corner, as the sun rises on Saturday morning. And in honor of the new game’s summer release, a new player for Nebraska football has declared himself to be “in the game.”

Malachi Coleman, a wide receiver, is the most recent Husker to officially announce their status on social media. He has an agreement with the video game producer wherein his name, picture, and likeness will appear in the title.

Officially, Coleman is the third Husker to declare as much. Dylan Raiola, the quarterback, and Dae’vonn Hall, the receiver, were the first two. It’s evident that not every Nebraska football player is making an announcement about their contract signing, but in an effort to get fans excited, EA has been striking exclusive arrangements with a number of Cornhuskers players.

At the same time that Malachi Coleman is making it clear that people will be able to throw the digitized ball to him, we’re moving that much closer to getting a really good look at what the new version of NCAA Football video games will look like.

According to Electronic Arts, EA Sports College Football 25 will be available “this summer” and there will be a “full reveal” in May.

We will be able to observe the extent of the Nebraska football program’s involvement when it does reach store shelves. The head coaches are one item we know will not be included in this version. Although most people will desire to be the head coach, that can interfere with some people’s plans.

Additionally, even though some of the uniforms are hidden behind paywalls, we know that there will be a ton of variations.
