WVU WR Devin Carter Undergoes Procedure Ahead of 2024 NFL Draft

A minor setback for the former Mountaineer receiver.

An injury never seems ideal, but for former West Virginia wide receiver Devin Carter, who is only a few weeks away from the NFL Draft, this is particularly unfortunate.

Carter had a treatment on his core muscles last week, and it will take him four to six weeks to recuperate, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. However, it is anticipated that he will be prepared to take part in mini-camp.

Prior to transferring to West Virginia, Carter spent five years at North Carolina State where he recorded 118 receptions for 1,906 yards and 10 touchdowns. In his lone season as a Mountaineer, Carter led WVU in receiving with 501 yards on 27 receptions, two of which went for scores.
