Birmingham City can confirm that Darren Carter has decided to leave the Football Club to pursue other opportunities.
The 40-year-old departs as Blues Women’s Head Coach by mutual consent, ending nearly two-and-a-half seasons in the position and seven years as a player.
During this time, he stabilised the team both on and off the pitch, narrowly missing promotion in the 2022/23 season and mounting a credible title challenge this campaign.
The Club would like to thank Darren for his effort and commitment and wish him the best in his future endeavours. He will always be welcome back at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
