Three players from Kentucky are suspended.
KYLEXINGTON — For Saturday night’s game against Georgia, Kentucky has banned both freshman defensive end Jason Hatcher and sophomore defensive back Cody Quinn. Demarco Robinson, a junior wide receiver, is under an indefinite suspension.
Although Tony Neely, the Wildcats football spokesperson, did not identify which rules were breached on Thursday, all of them received penalty for breaking them.
Georgia (6-4, 4-3), who has dropped three of its last five games, will go up against Kentucky (2-8, 0-6), who is looking to snap a 14-game losing run in the Southeastern Conference.
Robinson had 20 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns, ranking third among the Wildcats’ wide receivers. In addition, he brought back five kickoffs for 128 yards and eleven punts for 114 yards.
Quinn has 26 total tackles, 1.5 of which are for a loss, and 3 pass breakups. Hatcher, the team’s backup
