Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse reportedly wants to join David Moyes’s West Ham United.
According to The Telegraph, West Ham United want to sign James Ward-Prowse from Southampton in the Premier League.
The report has claimed that Ward-Prowse himself ois “keen on a move to the Hammers”.
West Ham United should bid for Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse
In our opinion, West Ham United should really get serious about signing James Ward-Prowse from Southampton in the summer transfer window.
If the 28-year-old is keen on a move to the Hammers, then the London club should make a bid for him now.
What’s the point in delaying an offer?
We believe that West Ham should start working on a deal to bring the England international midfielder to London Stadium right away.
According to The Telegraph, West Ham are planning to use part of the money they will get from selling Declan Rice to fund a move for Ward-Prowse, described as a “gifted midfielder” by former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks on BBC Sport in February 2022.
However, Liverpool are among the clubs who have been linked with Ward-Prowse.
Newcastle United are also interested in the midfielder.
So, West Ham cannot just wait and delay a potential bid.
