Eleven players, including Gavan Holohan and Abo Eisa, are scheduled to depart Grimsby Town this summer.

This season, Holohan (32) led all assisters with nine goals, while Eisa (9) finished second in goals scored behind Danny Rose.

Head coach David Artell has extended the contract of midfielder Kieran Green and kept 12 other players from the previous campaign.

Talks about new contracts are still “ongoing” externally with Denver Hume, Callum Ainley, and Harry Clifton.

Holohan, who joined from Hartlepool United in March 2022, played in 12 games as Grimsby won the National League play-offs at Wembley to reenter the English Football League.

He has now made 95 appearances, scoring 12 goals, and his final match was a 2-0 victory over Swindon Town that guaranteed Grimsby’s spot in League Two for the upcoming campaign.
