‘A dream come true’ Web-exclusive, sit-down interview with future Kentucky Wildcat Trent Noah
HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT) – The secret is out that Harlan County basketball star Trent Noah will join the Kentucky Wildcats next season and now we have heard from the young man himself.
When Noah, a product of Harlan County, was selected to play for the UK men’s basketball team, he and his family were overjoyed.
It’s truly an honor to come from this region and hold Kentucky close to my heart, Noah remarked. There’s also a certain pride associated with that. The very fact that my name is even mentioned among those names excites me much. Some really talented athletes have emerged from Harlan. Playing at the University of Kentucky is truly a dream come true, and they are incredibly special.
Noah announced he was joining UK next season via social media on Wednesday, May 8.
