According to the CFL Transactions page, the Toronto Argonauts waived defensive lineman Nelson Jordan II and linebacker Emmanuel Falola on Saturday. The Argonauts also placed defensive lineman John Daka on the suspended list, wide receivers Jeff Badet and Aaron Parker, and linebacker Malik Clements on the retired list.

Nelson Jordan II weighs 251 pounds and is six feet two. On November 22, 2023, the 25-year-old Starkville, Mississippi native signed a contract with the Toronto Argonauts.

Jordan II was a four-year student at Samford University (2018–21), where he recorded 124 total tackles (65 solo, 59 assists), 21.5 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, and four interceptions in 39 Bulldog games. In 2021, he was chosen to the Second Team All-SoCon.

After that, in nine games for the Hornets in 2022, Jordan II transferred to Alabama State with 28 tackles (11 solo, 17 assists), seven tackles for loss, and eleven sacks.
