Kentucky will face Texas A&M in its second game of the College World Series Monday night at 6:00 p.m. CT/7:00 p.m. ET.
The Cats and Aggies will matchup in the winner’s bracket, while Florida/NC State face off in the loser’s bracket.
A&M held off Florida 3-2 Saturday night to head to the winner’s bracket, setting up the Monday matchup with Kentucky. The 2024 College World Series is the eighth in A&M history, but they’ve never won an NCAA Championship.
Kentucky trailed 4-3 heading into the ninth inning of Saturday’s CWS opening matchup against NC State, but a Ryan Nicholson solo home run in the ninth and a walk-off Mitch Daly solo home run in the 10th gifted Kentucky its first College World Series game victory in program history.
These teams last clashed in 2023, where the Aggies won the series 2-1 in College Station. A&M owns the all-time series 13-8.
Here’s a look at the updated College World Series bracket.
Stay tuned for a more in depth preview of Monday’s matchup.
