GOOD NEWS: Black Sabbath Officially Announce the return of the legend
Ozzy Osbourne’s return to stage confirmed as Black Sabbath legend plans goodbye shows
Ozzy Osbourne is officially planning his final farewell performances.
The 75-year-old Black Sabbath rocker axed previous gig dates with the band, triggering fears he might never return to say goodbye to fans.
But despite his ill health over the past few years, Ozzy will indeed be gracing the stage in Birmingham for his last hurrah.
Sharon Osbourne, 71, confirmed he is planning on doing two more shows to wave farewell to his fans ‘properly’ and seemed to suggest the gigs will take place at Aston Villa’s Birmingham stadium, Villa Park.
‘He won’t tour again but we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, “I have never said goodbye to my fans and I want to say goodbye properly,”‘ Sharon told The Mirror, adding: ‘We will do it in Aston Villa where Ozzy is from.’
His wife of 41 years, Sharon explained how despite his break from rock ‘n’ roll Ozzy’s voice remains ‘absolutely perfect’ as he still does singing lessons.
‘He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don’t like his music you can’t not like Ozzy, he just draws you in,’ she told the publication.
Ozzy’s health took a downward turn in 2019 when he suffered a bad fall, and since he’s been pictured using a wheelchair and walking aids.
After the fall – which he thought had paralysed him – Ozzy had to undergo a number of operations, enduring his final one last year after saying he couldn’t go through with any more after that, no matter the consequence.
‘Regardless of the way it ends up after tomorrow, I’m not doing it anymore. I can’t,’ he told The Osbournes Podcast in September.
Attempting to describe the pain, the reality star admitted his ‘feet feel like I’ve got bricks tied to them when I’m walking.’
He also explained how in his back the two discs and his shoulder muscles have separated from his skeleton, which is why he leans forward.

The musician – who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2003, revealing the diagnosis in 2020 –hit headlines in February when he announced the cancellation of his Europe and UK tour after his surgery.
In a heartfelt statement, he explained that he never imagined his ‘touring days would have ended this way’.
‘This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans. As you may all know, four years ago, this month, I had a major accident, where I damaged my spine,’ he began.
‘My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage. My singing voice is fine.
‘However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.’

He added that he was not physically capable to do his European and UK tours, as he couldn’t deal with the travel.
In March, Ozzy gave those who have hinted he’s on his ‘last legs’ a piece of his mind.
‘This f*****g press drives you nuts. I looked in the magazine, “Ozzy’s on his last legs,” I’m f*****g not dying. I’ve been working my guts out to try and get back on my feet,’ he said on SiriusXM.
Never change, Ozzy. Never change.
