Houston: Six individuals were killed in a crash in downtown Houston early on Saturday, including former Detroit Lions cornerback D.J. Hayden, at a red light.
According to Houston Police Assistant Chief Megan Howard, the two vehicles crashed at around two in the morning when a Chrysler 300, which was apparently “going very fast, high velocity,” ran a red light and collided with an SUV.
According to the Houston Chronicle, Hayden was among the five males and one women who passed away.
At the site, four persons were officially declared dead. According to Howard, the man who looked to be homeless and the driver of the Chrysler were among those murdered.
