Pittsburgh Steelers’ next opponent suffers star QB injury
The Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Los Angeles Chargers at home next Sunday, but who they will face remains in the air. During the Chargers’ 26-3 win over the Carolina Panthers, star quarterback Justin Herbert got rolled up on by multiple players.
He headed into the blue medical tent and missed only a short time. While Herbert did return, he was seen with a heavy limp after the game, and he said he was sore. Over the next few days, more tests will be run on the Chargers’ quarterback.
Herbert had just 130 passing yards, but added two touchdowns and an interception against the Panthers. He dealt with a plantar fascia injury in his foot in July and only recently cleared the hurdles from the injury. While Herbert did not say where his injury was on his leg, he had an MRI after the game.
