Those who didn’t get to see Led Zeppelin in concert now have the opportunity to watch over 50 minutes of footage from a live performance, thanks to Speedy’s Films releasing the content on YouTube on April 7. The longest 8mm footage featuring Led Zeppelin band members was recorded during a concert in Montreal on Feb. 6, 1975.

From the very beginning, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and John Bonham made a huge impact as the band Led Zeppelin, bursting onto the music scene with their first album in 1969.

Their strong bond was unmistakable, evident to everyone, including the Led Zeppelin band members themselves. In the year the previous video was filmed, Plant was interviewed on a British TV show and was questioned about his interest in solo projects or if any other band members were considering them.

“I believe I couldn’t do [one] without engaging with the other guys,” replied Plant. My charm depends on the other three elements, just like everyone else. The true secret is that we really enjoy playing together. I couldn’t go play with anyone else because if I wanted to play, I needed Bonzo as my drummer. “And it’s the same situation with Jimmy and Jonesy… It just wouldn’t be fair.”
