It appears everyone is on their way to Saudi Arabia this summer and the latest name to add to the list could be former Leeds United star Raphinha.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who say the financial offer from the Middle East ‘will be tempting’ despite the player not wanting to leave the Camp Nou.
Raphinha has had something of an up and down first season at Barcelona sine his move from Leeds last summer, initially struggling to impress before establishing himself under Xavi towards the end of the campaign.
He ended the season on a high note and that’s put him in the spotlight of Saudi Arabian clubs, who are looking around Europe and targeting big names.
They’re now eyeing a move for Raphinha as a result, having also approached teammate Franck Kessie about a potential move also.
For now, the Brazilian has continued to insist he will not be leaving Barcelona, having regularly been asked about his future at the club since moving from Leeds last summer and batted away any potential exit.
Mundo Deportivo, though, insist he would not be the first player to change his plans after receiving ‘such a large sum of money’ in the form of a Saudi offer.
Whether they can tempt him as they have tempted others remains to be seen but the interest is certainly there and so is the money.
