Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly ‘made an offer’ for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who is a target for Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Serbia international has been linked with a move to the Premier League for over a year. Now, given Juventus’ ongoing financial difficulties, that may become a reality.

Indeed, breaches of financial rules meant the Italian giants were docked points in Serie A last season. Due to that, sales of some of their more expensive assets are likely.

As previously reported by Football365, Chelsea are considering replacing Romelu Lukaku with Vlahovic.

In fact, it is believed that the Juventus striker’s agents have ‘already booked a trip to London’ to discuss a potential deal.

Also, Man Utd have had Vlahovic on their radar for some time. So, it wouldn’t be a major shock to see them make a bid.

Last season, the striker played an important role for Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 27 Serie A appearances.

Now, it seems Tottenham have made the first concrete move for the forward.

That is according to Italian outlet Sport MediaSet, who claim Tottenham are ‘at the window’ for Vlahovic, with an offer ‘not less than €65m (approx £55.5m).’

Although, it is worth noting that Spurs probably wouldn’t be Vlahovic’s club of choice if Man Utd made an offer, due to the fact they won’t be competing in the Champions League next season.

For Juventus, though, that is irrelevant. This is because their priority is to generate as many funds as possible from the striker’s sale.

The Italian side have slapped a £80m price tag on Vlahovic, though. So, it’s unlikely Tottenham’s reported opening offer will be enough to convince them to sell.

Therefore, it will be interesting to see what Juventus’ response will be. The bid, however, only raises more questions about the future of Harry Kane.

The England international has been linked with a departure from Spurs for some time. And, Bayern Munich have just made a second offer for the striker, of £70m plus addons.

Kane is keen on joining the Bundesliga champions. Although, reports suggest Tottenham are expected to reject the bid.

The fact that Spurs have made a bid for Vlahovic, however, could suggest that Kane may well leave this summer.

That is just speculation at this stage. But, it will certainly be interesting to see if Man Utd or Chelsea launch their own offers in response to Tottenham’s move for Vlahovic.
