Reported Newcastle United target Moussa Diaby is claimed to be keen on a move to Aston Villa.
Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Aston Villa have made a bid for Moussa Diaby, a player Newcastle United also want to sign in the summer transfer window.
Bayer Leverkusen have turned down the offer from Villa for Diaby, but talks between the two clubs are still going on.
The Italian journalist has added that the 24-year-old France international winger wants to move to Villa and has “said yes” to the Villans.
And this will come as a blow for Newcastle.
Earlier this month, Bild reported interest from Newcastle in Diaby.
Football Transfers have also claimed this month that the Magpies are keen on the France international.

our opinion, Moussa Diaby is a very good and impressive player who has done well for Bayer Leverkusen over the years.
The winger has played 10 times for France and is only 24.
Diaby has a lot of potential, and his best years are ahead of him.
The 24-year-old scored nine goals and gave eight assists in 33 Bundesliga appearances for Bayer last season.
