Sean Dyche already has primary Everton target as transfers and tactics form key parts of summer plan - Liverpool Echo

Back in January, it seemed as though Arnaut Danjuma was an Everton player, it was just a case of the club announcing the deal, but at the very last minute, Tottenham swooped in and secured a loan deal for the Villarreal star.

In the end, the versatile forward warmed the bench for most of his time in the capital, but could those on Merseyside now get him the second time around?

Well, the 26-year-old has reported back to Villarreal for pre-season, as he remains professional and tries to prepare for the new season, even though the signs suggest that his future lies elsewhere.

Whilst all of that bubbles under the surface, the player himself isn’t getting distracted, as he posted on Instagram, with Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye posting blue love hearts in the comments section of his post.

Will Danjuma be an Everton player next season? Well, judging by some of the comments from the Goodison Park faithful, they aren’t too keen on him because of his actions in January.

“Focused, Dedicated and Ready,” wrote the former Tottenham loanee.

Everton still need Danjuma

Once again, the Toffees are in a precarious situation and they will need to penny-pinch in the transfer market once more to enhance their squad.

Sean Dyche was used to that at Burnely, so he has experience in that regard, but even if Everton can get a loan deal for Danjuma, then it would be very worthwhile.

Yes, the fans will still be annoyed by his actions back in the winter, but they have no time to dwell because, as of this moment, they are facing yet another relegation battle next season.
