Lucas Paqueta has been pictured back in training with West Ham United.
West Ham ace Lucas Paqueta missed the tour to Australia, and still hasn’t played in a pre-season friendly, nor has he taken part in a single training session.
Hammers fans were becoming increasingly more concerned as Paqueta’s extended absence carried on with no word from the club.
However, those fears were allayed when the Brazilian took to his Instagram earlier this week posting the caption: ‘back soon’.
The 25-year-old’s 2022/23 campaign with West Ham didn’t finish until June 7th, and then he took part in international games for Brazil.
Paqueta suffered a shoulder injury in one of those games, so it’s little wonder why he has taken so long to return to pre-season training…
West Ham fans’ fears allayed as missing man Lucas Paqueta is finally pictured back in training after injury
Paqueta is finally back at Rush Green training with the first-team.

Well, that really is a huge relief isn’t it.
Paqueta was a vital player for the Hammers last season, and he’s now well and truly our talisman after Declan Rice left to join Arsenal.
Lucas Paqueta will have a key role to play for West Ham this season, as David Moyes and his side attempt to navigate life after Dec.
Let’s hope that he’s fit enough to play when the new Premier League season kicks off in just three week’s time.
