Andrey Santos has hailed Nottingham Forest after completing a loan move to the City Ground from Chelsea.

The Brazilian arrives Trentside from West London until the end of the campaign and is in line to make his Reds’ debut on Saturday in their Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford (kick-off: 3pm).

Santos arrived in England back in January when the Blues signed him from Vasco but the 19-year-old soon returned back to his native Brazil with a return to Vasco on loan in March.

And after joining Forest on Friday for the remainder of the current campaign, Santos admits that he cannot wait to “enjoy playing” for Steve Cooper’s side.

“I am very happy and excited to be here,” he told the club’s official website. “I know that Forest is a big club, they play good football and they have good players, which is important for me.

“It has always been my dream to play in the Premier League and I can’t wait to enjoy playing.”

Forest’s chief football officer, Ross Wilson added: “Everyone knows how talented Andrey is, so naturally we are pleased that amongst the considerable interest in him, he and Chelsea have chosen Nottingham Forest. We are all delighted to have him.”
