Alan Myers reacts to ‘disappointing’ Everton news as a reform to the Fan Advisory Board is announced.
Jazz Bal’s resignation as chair of the Everton Fan Advisory Board has been described as “disappointing news” by Alan Myers.
The move, which was attributed to personal reasons, was disclosed by the independent organization in a statement on Thursday [7 September].
Dave Kelly will serve as interim chair until a permanent replacement is chosen, although news editor Myers is disappointed that Bal is stepping down.
“Disappointing news this, Jazz is a good guy,” Myers tweeted [7 September].
Best wishes!
During his time on the Everton Fans’ Forum, Bal has been at the forefront of various causes.
However, due to his personal employment and family obligations, he has decided to step down as chair of the Fan Advisory Board.
Having a body that can hold the club accountable is important for any team, but none more so than the Toffees, who seem to lurch from crisis to crisis – relatively speaking, of course.
Whether it is about financial issues, problems with the new stadium, or just general complaints, the FAB is there to represent fans.
