Simon Jordan has delivered his verdict on Evangelos Marinakis’ ambition to win Nottingham Forest a trophy and become a dominant force in English Football.

Jordan admitted that he was impressed with Marinakis after backing up his word in the transfer market over the last two seasons.
Simon Jordan backs Evangelos Marinakis’ Forest plans
Speaking on talkSPORT breakfast, Jordan spoke in depth about Marinakis but did say he’s backing up his promises by supporting boss Steve Cooper throughout the last couple of years.
“Marinakis hasn’t said what he will win and when he will win it. He’s said we will be a dominant force in English football.
“I have no reason to disbelieve him because he’s backed everything he’s done previously.
“The reality is Nottingham Forest are in the Premier League, he spent a king’s ransom on footballers last year.
“What he said after the play-off was an emotional reaction, to the euphoria of achieving something that Nottingham Forest fans waited for the best part of a quarter of a century for.
“What he’s saying now is not in the heat of emotion and what he actually wants to impart and not what his emotions think he should.
“There is a bottom line behind having an ambition and you have to back it up. It’s safe to say he’s done that.”
Saudi Arabian Club Fail With Move For Nottingham Forest Star
Nottingham Forest have rejected an offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Tai for Emmanuel Dennis, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti.
Even though the majority of the transfer windows are closed until January, Saudi Arabian clubs can commence their transfer activity until tonight.
The Tricky Trees have seen a flurry of players incoming late in the transfer window and also made the significant sale of Brennan Johnson.
They, however, are still looking to offload some fringe players either on loan or permanently before the other transfer windows shut down and Dennis is a player they want to move on.
It has been suggested that Saudi Arabian outfit Al Tai have been showing interest in Dennis in recent days.
It has been suggested that the Saudi Arabian side made a bid for Dennis, however, the Premier League side rejected their bid.
The 25-year-old Nigerian was signed only last summer from Watford but he struggled to make an impact in his first season and now he is expected to leave the club.
It remains to be seen if the Tricky Trees will receive an offer for Dennis, with a notable transfer window in Turkey still open.
