I am not going to play: The 24-year-old is almost certainly done with Wolves.
Bruno Jordao, a Wolves player who hasn’t received much attention this summer, doesn’t appear to be on the verge of a comeback at Molineux, despite a managerial change.
Jordan played last season on loan with Santa Clara in Portugal.
He only appeared in 11 games for them before returning to Wol Portugal. ves this summer.
Jordao is an unusual example.
He was signed by the same team and at the same time as Pedro Neto.
However, he has been troubled by injuries since his arrival.
Some have speculated whether Jordao could become a viable choice for Gary O’Neil.
Given what journalist Liam Keen had to say about the player on the current Express & Star podcast…
Bruno Jordao is unlikely to play for Wolves’ fir
st team again, according to the latest Express & Star podcast.
Jordao has only appeared in five first-team games for Wolves.
“From everyone I’ve spoken to around the club who’s dealt with him, he seems like a really nice guy,” Keen said of his potential to replace O’Neil. As far as I’m aware, although it’s tough to say for definite, he’s never made a fuss or caused any problems, and he appears to be a kind guy. However, it has not worked out for him.
“I think he’s clearly not up to the level; he’s also had injuries.” Some of the debts he’s taken out have also not worked out. He’s not going to play for Wolves unless something extraordinary happens and O’Neil falls for him. But I don’t believe that will be the case. He will not be playing for the Wolves. He will most likely leave at some point. “The chances of him playing for Wolves again are extremely remote.”
Keen believes Jordao might yet depart for a new club this summer, with certain doors still open.
There is also the possibility that Wolves and Jordao will mutually agree to terminate his contract, which is now in its last year.
Jordao mentioned returning to the Molineux first-team picture earlier this summer.
Jordao has had a bad run at Wolves.
So it appears that Jordao will be leaving Wolves soon.
His stay with the club was simply unlucky.
Because of his injury issues, he’s never been able to get traction and be considered a first-team option.
He was regarded favorably when he joined the team alongside Neto.
But it hasn’t worked out, and now Molineux has a plethora of midfield choices, making a revival almost difficult.
