Hull City have signed Ryan Mason from Tottenham for a club-record fee.
The Tigers have not revealed the exact cost of the 25-year-old but did confirm it was more than the £ 10 million they paid for previous record signing Abel Hernandez.
“I’m delighted and excited to be here,” said Mason.
“I can’t wait to get started and I see this as a massive opportunity for me.”
Mason, who made his one and only England appearance last year, joins the likes of Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson in swapping White Hart Lane for the KC Stadium.
And Hull are also keen to bring Bournemouth winger Max Gradel to the club.
The 28-year-old winger is unhappy at his lack of action this season and is understood to have expressed his feelings to boss Eddie Howe.
Gradel, an Ivory Coast international, has played for just nine minutes in the Premier League so far.
He came on as a late substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Manchester United on the opening weekend. He also started – and scored in – the club’s 3-1 League Cup win at Morecambe last Wednesday.
